It is indeed a great honour to be the Dean and Principal of the govt. medical college in Mayubhanj.The illoustritius kings of Mayurbhanj like Sriram Chandra Bhanjdeo was unparallel to any other king in donating for establishment of Utkal University and Sriram Chandra Bhanj medical college,the first university and first medical college in Odisha.The college is established in a serene and tranquil area few kilometres away from the township making a wonderful place for study.I hope students enjoy the natural beauty of the district and graduate with a sense of selfless service and compassion which is the quintessence of the rulers of the erstwhile princely state.
